Chocolate Kahlua & Pecan Cookies

I found this recipe in a magazine, I'm sorry I can't remember which one though. They are delicious! I couldn't keep DH out of them! They only need 1/4 cup of Kahlua so it's not overpowering.

Ingredients

• 1  cup unsalted butter
• 2  cups brown sugar
• 2  eggs
• 1⁄4 cup Kahlua
• 2 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1  teaspoon salt
• 1  teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄4 cup  unsweetened cocoa
• 1  cup  chopped pecans
• 1 1⁄2 cups  semi-sweet chocolate chips or 1 1⁄2 cups  milk chocolate chips

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In an electric stand mixer bowl, combine butter and sugar; cream together on high speed.
3. Add eggs one at a time until incorporated, and kahlua; beat till smooth.
4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda and cocoa.
5. Add to butter mixture and mix to incorporate.
6. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
7. drop about a tbsp of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
8. Bake for 10 mins rotating half way through, or until the edges are lightly browned.
9. Place on a wire rack to cool.
