Chocolate Granola Candies

This is my way of cooking, quick-and-easy yet it looks very elegant.

Ready In: 10 mins

Serves: 36-48

Ingredients

  • 2 12 cups granola cereal, with fruit and nuts
  • 12 cup  chopped  nuts, of your choice
  • 14 cup raisins (optional)
  • 12  ounces  chocolate-flavord baking chocolate (I use Wilton brand)

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine cereal and chopped nut and (optional) raisins.
  2. In a heavy saucepan, melt candy coating over low heat, be careful not to overheat.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture into foil candy cups.
  5. Place candies in refrigerator to harden.
  6. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
