I got this recipe from my friend in Texas. I use this glaze to drizzle over my home made doughnuts.

Yields: 1/2 cup glaze

Ingredients

¹⁄₂ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shortening

Directions

Heat all ingredients in 1 quart saucepan over low heat. Stirring occasionally until well blended.
