Chocolate Cream Cheese Truffles

I found this recipebut I can't remember where. The cream cheese made them rich and smooth. It was very tasty. I don't think I cared for the ones rolled in unsweetened cocoa or coffee, but I guess it's individual.

• Yields: 5 dozen balls

Ingredients

• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 3  cups powdered sugar
• 1 1⁄2 cups chocolate chips, melted
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
•  various coatings such as ground nuts, unsweetened cocoa, coffee granules, coconut or   candy sprinkles

Directions

1. Beat the cream cheese and add the sugar, then beat until smooth.
2. Add the melted chips and vanilla, mix.
3. Refrigerate for one hour.
4. Shape into 1" balls, roll in coating.
5. Store in refrigerator.
