Chocolate Coconut Craisin Granola Bars

The granola bars in stores are too sweet for me sometimes, so I decided to make my own.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a pan.
  2. Toast chopped almonds and oats.
  3. Bring corn syrup and oil to a boil, remove from heat, then add in extracts.
  4. Combine dry ingredients and pour syrup over. Mix well.
  5. Press flat into a brownie pan lined with parchment paper. Greased aluminum foil works as well.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes until lightly browned just around the edges will give you moist, chewy bars. Let cool for 10 minutes, cut into squares then let cool completely before serving.
