Chocolate Chunk Hot Cocoa Mix

This makes a cocoa mix for gift giving include instructions with the gift. I found this recipe in Real Simple magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. I plan to use Splenda in place of the sugar.

• Yields: 4 cups

Ingredients

• Cocoa Mix

• 2  cups  unsweetened cocoa powder
• 3⁄4 cup sugar
• 8  ounces  chopped  semisweet chocolate

• Add In

• 3⁄4 cup milk

Directions

1. In a bowl, combine the cocoa, sugar, and chocolate. Store in an airtight container. Keep at room temperature for up to 4 months.
2. Include these instructions with your gift: "In a small saucepan, whisk 1/4 cup cocoa mix with 3/4 cup milk. Bring to a bare simmer.
