Chocolate Chip Meringue Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar, packed, divided
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- 1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1⁄2 cups butterscotch chips
- 3 egg whites, room temperature
Directions
- Combine flour and 1/2 cup brown sugar.
- Stir in butter and blend well.
- Press mixture into ungreased 9x13 pan and sprinkle with chocolate and butterscotch morsels.
- Beat egg whites at high speed until foamy.
- Gradually add 1 cup packed brown sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Spread meringue over chocolate layer.
- Bake at 375F for 18 - 20 minutes.
