Chocolate Chip Marble Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the first four ingredients until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then add in vanilla.
  4. Combine dry ingredients in a seperate bowl, then stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
  6. Then lastly, gently fold in the cocoa powder to create a marbled effect.
  7. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
