Chocolate Chip Granola Bars

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups rolled oats
- 1 1⁄4 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1⁄2 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup chocolate chips or 1 cup raisins
Directions
- Cream together the sugars and butter until fluffy.
- Add the honey, vanilla, egg and mix well.
- Blend in the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
