Chocolate Chip Crispers

OOH I like these chocolate chip cookies made with rice crispies. I got this recipe out of a cookie cookbook and have never seen another one like it. They are YUMMY!

• Yields: 15 cookies

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
• 1  cup white sugar
• 1  egg
• 1  teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 2  cups  Rice Krispies
• 1  cup chocolate chips

Directions

1. In large bowl beat together butter and sugar.
2. beat in egg and vanilla.
3. sift together flour, soda and salt; mix into wet ingredients.
4. Stir in crispies, and chocolate chips.
5. Drop by tablespoon full onto greased cookie sheet 1 inch apart.
6. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
