Chocolate Charlie Pancakes by Rebekah Gay

Serves: 2

Yields: 4 pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1  cup  complete pancake and waffle mix, like Krusteaz
  • 2  tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 14 cup white chocolate chips
  • 14 cup  coarsely chopped  nuts, of your choice
  • 34 cup water
  •  cooking spray
  • 14 cup maple syrup
  • 14 cup  chocolate syrup

Directions

  1. Preheat griddle on medium heat.
  2. Mix first 6 ingredients in a batter bowl.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  4. Spray griddle with cooking spray before pouring each pancake.
  5. Pour batter into 4 inch circles, (they will spread a bit).
  6. Cook till edges are set and center is bubbly.
  7. Spray pancake with cooking spray, then flip.
  8. Cook approximately 2 more minutes.
  9. Transfer to plate and pour both syrups.
  10. Serve immediately.
