Chocolate Caramel Oatmeal Chews

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Brush Rectangular Baker with canola oil.
  2. Combine oats, 1 1/2 cups of the flour, brown sugar, and baking soda in classic butter bowl.
  3. Add butter and mix until crumbly. Reserve a cup of the crumb mixture.
  4. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of baker. Bake 15 minutes.
  5. Combine caramel topping and remaining 1/4 cup flour in small batter bowl and whisk until smooth using seamless whisk.
  6. Drizzle over crust and careflly spread to edges using large srpeader.
  7. Combine pecans and reserved crumb mixture in 2 cup easy read measuring cup.
  8. Sprinkle crumb mixture and chocolate morsels evenly over caramel mixture.
  9. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Remove from stackable cooling rack.
  11. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
