Chocolate Caramel Oatmeal Chews

Ingredients
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats or 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 3⁄4 cups all-purpose flour, divided
- 3⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup butterscotch caramel ice cream topping
- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsel
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350. Brush Rectangular Baker with canola oil.
- Combine oats, 1 1/2 cups of the flour, brown sugar, and baking soda in classic butter bowl.
- Add butter and mix until crumbly. Reserve a cup of the crumb mixture.
- Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of baker. Bake 15 minutes.
- Combine caramel topping and remaining 1/4 cup flour in small batter bowl and whisk until smooth using seamless whisk.
- Drizzle over crust and careflly spread to edges using large srpeader.
- Combine pecans and reserved crumb mixture in 2 cup easy read measuring cup.
- Sprinkle crumb mixture and chocolate morsels evenly over caramel mixture.
- Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from stackable cooling rack.
- Cool completely. Cut into bars.
