Chocolate Afghans

Loved these as a child, and these one's are made with the old aussie favorite Weet-Bix. Lovely iced with chocolate icing. Show more

Yields: 30 biscuits

Ingredients

  • 220  g butter
  • 90  g caster sugar
  • 185  g  sifted flour
  • 1  tablespoon  sifted  cocoa
  • 2 12 cups  Weet-Bix

Directions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture and place teaspoons of mixture onto greased baking sheets, pressing down slightly with a fork.
  3. Bake at 180 c for 12- 15 minutes.
  4. Ice with chocoalte icing when cold.
