Choco-Banana Squares

Really easy dessert squares with a great flavor of chocolate and bananas. They are really addicting! My mother got it from a co-worker several years ago.

• Yields: 1 pan

Ingredients

• 2⁄3 cup butter or 2⁄3 cup margarine
• 2⁄3 cup sugar
• 2⁄3 cup light brown sugar
• 1  cup banana, mashed
• 2  cups flour
• 2  teaspoons baking powder
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 6  ounces  semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

1. Cream first three ingredients together.
2. Mix in bananas.
3. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and then add to wet mixture.
4. Stir in cocolate chips.
5. Spread batter in a greased and floured 10x5 inch jelly roll pan and bake at 350 for approximately 25 minutes or until the top is golden.
