Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs.
  4. Gradually add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt until well mixed.
  5. Stir in mini-chips and set aside.
  6. In a small bowl. mix the topping sugar and cinnamon together.
  7. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in coating mixture.
  8. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets; flatten with a fork (use a rocking motion).
  9. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
  10. Place on wire racks to cool.
