Choc Chip "kool-Cookies"

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter
- 1⁄2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 egg, large
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips, dark
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts, chopped (or pecans)
Directions
- Preheat oven 375 F (190 C)
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add the egg, milk and vanilla.
- Lightly mix the above ingredients into a bowl with the flour, baking powder and salt. Do not overmix.
- Add chocolate and nuts.
- Set up cookies on trays lined with baking paper.
- Bake 15 to 20 mins for crisp biscuits, 25 mins for very crisp, dry, dense biscuits.
