Chinese Fondue

Ingredients
- 500 ml red wine
- 6 small onions, cut in rings
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1⁄4 lb butter
- 2 (10 1/2ounce) cans beef consomme or 2 (10 1/2ounce) cans beef broth
- 2 (10 1/2ounce) cans water
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce or 2 tablespoons salsa or 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup chopped parsley
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Sauté the onions and garlic and then add the rest of the ingredients.
- Simmer the broth for about an hour and then pour into a fondue pot.
- Enjoy with pieces of beef, chicken, seafood and vegetables!
