Chin Jao Ro Su (Bamboo and Bell Pepper Stir Fry)

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 lb pork or 1⁄2 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon sake
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons oil
- 1 large bell pepper, sliced
- 1⁄4 lb bamboo shoot, sliced
Sauce
- 1 tablespoon sake
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons oyster sauce
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in water
Directions
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Stir fry in oil with the garlic and ginger until brown.
- Add bell peppers and bamboo shoots. Stir fry until done, about 5 minutes.
- Add sauce during the last minute or so of cooking time.
