Chili Dog Pizza

This may sound weird, but after trying my cheeseburger pizza, weird pizzas can taste great. You can use any pizza dough, but the Pillsbury Grands give it a great "toasted bun flavor". Ketchup and mustard are optional. I had to give amounts for ketchup and mustard, but I usually just squirt them on until it looks good. Show more

Serves: 4-6

Yields: 1 pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 (11 ounce) package  Pillsbury Grands refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 2  cups cheese, cheddar, shredded
  • 2  cups  chili, no beans
  • 1  cup onion, chopped
  • 2 -3  tablespoons mustard
  • 2 -3  tablespoons ketchup
  • 4 -6  hot dogs, sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place six of the biscuits on a pizza pan, or can use it all for thick crust. Press down onto pan to seal biscuits together.
  3. Spread ketchup and mustard on dough.
  4. Spread chili over ketchup and mustard.
  5. Top with hot dogs.
  6. Sprinkle with onions.
  7. Cover with cheese.
  8. Bake in oven 15-20 minutes.
