Chickpea Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 potato, boiled
- 1 1⁄2 cups chickpeas, cooked
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
- salt and pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- flour
- olive oil
- lemon slices (optional) or lime slice (optional)
Directions
- Peel and mash the boiled potato with the chickpeas.
- Combine with onion, garlic, oregano, parsley, coriander, salt and pepper.
- Add the egg and mix well.
- Shape into burgers and dust with flour.
- Fry in olive oil until nicely brown on both sides.
- Serve with lemon or lime slices.
