Chicken Wings in Sauce a La Chine

A delightful dim sum recipe from the Diana Liu cookbook.

Directions

  1. Mix water, soy sauce, sugar, star anise and sherry in a pot; bring to boil.
  2. Add chicken wings; bring to boil again.
  3. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  4. Remove wings from sauce.
  5. Serve cold.
  6. Note: I cut the wings in 3 segments and arrange on a platter garnished with chopped green onions or cilantro.
