Chicken Pockets

Yields: 8 rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups  cooked chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2  tablespoons margarine
  • 1  small onion, chopped
  • 12 cup  chopped celery
  •  salt and pepper
  • 1 (8 count) package  crescent rolls

Directions

  1. Mix together cream cheese and margarine.
  2. Add salt, pepper, onion, celery and chicken to cream cheese mixture.
  3. Divide crescent rolls into triangles.
  4. Spread out triangle and put 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons chicken mixture in center.
  5. Bring triangle around mixture and pinch roll together to close any openings.
  6. Dip rolls in 1/4 cup melted butter and coat with crushed corn flakes.
  7. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  8. Top with gravy made of: 1/2 cup sour cream and about 1/4 cup chicken broth.
