Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dry oregano
- 1⁄2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 (14 ounce) jar pasta sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Heat oil in a skillet, thermometer should read 325 degrees. Working in batches, season chicken with salt and pepper and dredge with flour, shaking off excess. Combine breadcrumbs, herbs, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese. Dip in eggs and coat in breadcrumbs mix. Fry chicken, flipping once until golden and cooked through, 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towel and season again with salt and pepper.
- Heat pasta sauce and add crushed red pepper, add on top of chicken and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Place under broiler until cheese has melted. Garnish with parsley and serve with spaghetti.
