Chicken Noodle Soup (Bill's Style)

My husband came up with this recipe and we love it!!!

Ready In: 1 hr 20 mins

Serves: 6-8

Yields: 1 pot

Ingredients

  • 1  small whole chicken
  • 1  tablespoon  Lawry's Seasoned Salt
  • 1  medium onion (chopped)
  • 8  ounces  frozen peas
  • 2  cups celery (chopped)
  • 2  cups carrots (chopped)
  • 6  ounces  egg noodles

Directions

  1. Put chicken, carrots, celery & onions into the pot and add water until the chicken is covered.
  2. Bring to a boil and add season salt.
  3. Boil until chicken is done.
  4. Remove chicken and cool.
  5. Remove meat from the bones, chop it and put it back into the pot with the chicken broth.
  6. Bring to a boil add noodles, peas and season salt to taste.
  7. Boil until noodles are done.
  8. Enjoy!
