Chicken Jump-In-The-Mouth

Looking through my old and very large recipe file, (from the old days when I wrote everything down!), I found this. I'm not completely sure if it came from The Seattle Times. I think I took it to potlucks back in the 80's. Show more

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

  • 1  cup  cooked chicken, diced
  • 1  cup celery, sliced
  • 2  tablespoons onions, finely chopped
  • 12 cup black olives, chopped
  • 12 cup  pimento stuffed olive, sliced
  • 14 cup  toasted walnuts, chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4ounce) can  cream of chicken soup
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 34 cup mayonnaise
  • 12-1  cup  potato chips, crushed

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except chicken and potato chips.
  2. Gently fold chicken into this mixture.
  3. Rectify seasonings to taste.
  4. Turn into buttered baking dish and top with crushed potato chips.
  5. Bake in preheated 450* oven for about 20 minutes.
