Chicken in Tomato Gravy

Ingredients
- 1 chicken, cut into pieces
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 4 red Italian tomatoes
- 3 green chilies, seed and cut lengthwise
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1⁄2 can coconut juice
SPICES:
- 1 onion
- 6 almonds
- 3 red chilies
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Blend spices until fine. Heat oil and fry chicken until brown.
- Remove chicken and fry spices for 2 minutes.
- Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, chilies, salt, sugar and lime juice and stir for 3 minutes.
- Add chicken, coconut juice and simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid is reduced to a thick gravy.
