Chicken in Butter and Barbeque Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 poached chicken
- barbecue sauce (see recipe, Vinegar and Tomato Barbeque Sauce)
- 15 tablespoons butter, softened
- ordinary black pepper
Directions
- Pick the chicken well and season the meat with salt, if necessary.
- Coat with Barbeque sauce, but, do not add enough for it to become poolish.
- Melt the butter gently in a saucepan that can accommodate all the chicken.
- Warm the chicken meat but do not allow boiling.
- Cover as needed.
- Serve as part of a meal or on sandwiches.
