Chicken Casserole Chinese Style

Simple and very addicting.

Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons butter
  • 12 cup onion, chopped
  • 3  cups celery, diced
  • 1  cup mushroom, sliced
  • 1  tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2  cups chicken, cooked
  • 1 (10 1/2ounce) can  cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 1/2ounce) can  cream of celery soup
  • 3  tablespoons milk
  • 12 cup cashews, broken into bits
  • 12 cup  chow mein noodles

Directions

  1. Melt butter into a large oven-safe skillet. Add onion and celery and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Mix in remaining ingredients except for cashews and chow mein noodles. Sprinkle nuts and noodles on top.
  3. Bake uncovered at 350 for 25 minutes.
  4. Note: You can use turkey or any other type of leftover meat.
