Cherry Slice

A really nice slice, which is great for when you are expecting guests. A bit like a Cherry Ripe!

Ingredients

  • BASE

  • 100  g  melted butter
  • 100  g  crushed  Marie biscuits (or plain sweet biscuits)
  • 1  tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 13 cup caster sugar
  • 1  cup self raising flour
  • MIDDLE

  • 1  can  condensed milk
  • 1 12 cups  desiccated coconut
  • 90  g  sliced  glace cherries
  • TOP

  • 150  g chocolate
  • 30  g Copha

Directions

  1. BASE: Grease and line a slice tin.
  2. Mix all ingradients together in a bowl.
  3. Place in tin.
  4. Bake 15 minutes at 350.
  5. Allow to cool.
  6. MIDDLE: Mix all ingredients together and place on top of base.
  7. Bake another 15 minutes at 350.
  8. Allow to cool.
  9. TOP: Melt all ingredients over stove and pour on top of slice.
