  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients except cherries and nuts. Blend well on low speed.
  3. Stir in cherries and nuts, mix thoroughly.
  4. If necessary, chill 1 hour.
  5. Shape dough into two 10-inch rolls; wrap.
  6. Chill 1 to 2 hours.
  7. Cut into 1/4-inch slices.
  8. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  9. Bake at 400F for 7 to 10 minutes.
