Cherries 'n Cream Dessert Squares

Ingredients
CRUST
- 1 1⁄2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs or 1 1⁄2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1⁄3 cup melted butter
FILLING
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almond extract
Directions
- Combine crust ingredients, press into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Refrigerate while preparing filling.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla til fluffy.
- Fold in marshmallows and whipped cream.
- Spread over crust.
- In a small bowl, combine cherry pie filling and almond extract.
- Spread carefully over cream layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
- Store in fridge.
