Chef Karie's Special Steak

Ingredients
- 1 top round steak, cut 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick
- meat tenderizer
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1⁄3 cup lemon juice
- 3⁄4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
- 2 tablespoons ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons seasoning salt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Directions
- Sprinkle all surfaces of meat with tenderizer, piercing with fork. Combine remaining ingredients for marinade. Marinate meat 8 hours or overnight in refrigerator, turning occasionally. Remove meat from marinade and drain on paper towels. Preheat gas grill. With cover down, cook on low to medium setting to desired doneness. Turn meat occasionally and baste with marinade. (35 to 40 minutes medium rare) (55 to 60 well done).
