Cheesy Cod Steaks

Ingredients
- 6 ounces cod
- salt
- pepper
- 1⁄2 slice bread
- 1⁄2 ounce cheddar cheese
- 1⁄2 ounce butter
Directions
- Wipe the fish and season with salt and pepper. Grate or crumble the bread, grate or finely chop the cheese, and mix together.
- Put the fish in the base of a greased grill pan, dot with half the butter, and grill for 5 minutes. Turn the fish over, cover with the cheese mixture, dot with the remaining butter, and grill for another 5 minutes.
- Serve on a warm plate.
