Cheese Top Vegetables

Ingredients
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli spears
- water
- salt
- ground black pepper
- 6 slices bacon
- 6 slices monterey jack cheese
Directions
- Cook vegetables in salted water according to package directions. Drain.
- Place vegetables in lightly greased shallow baking dish.
- Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
- Arrange bacon slices over the vegetables and cheese slices on top of bacon.
- Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
- Serve immediately.
