Cheese Fritters

  1. Warm the milk in a skillet.
  2. Slowly mix in the flour.
  3. Add butter or margarine.
  4. Keep stirring on low flame until well combined.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add the cheese, green chillies, beaten egg, mint leaves, red chilli powder and salt.
  7. Mix well and allow to cool.
  8. Divide the mixture into small marble sized equal balls.
  9. Heat oil in a wok.
  10. Deep-fry the prepared marble sized balls in the hot oil.
  11. Drain on clean paper kitchen napkins.
  12. Arrange on a serving platter.
  13. Serve with toothpicks stuck into each ball.
  14. This goes well with Heinz Tomato Ketchup or a chutney.
