Cheddar Cheese Soup

Ingredients
- 2 cups potato and leek soup
- 3 cups milk
- freshly ground nutmeg
- 1⁄4 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 cups medium cheddar or 2 cups old cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper
Directions
- In a saucepan, combine soup base and milk with nutmeg; bring to a simmer.
- Whisk in hot sauce and cumin; stir in cheese(do not let soup boil after cheese is added).
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
