Cheddar Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1  tablespoon butter
  • 3  tablespoons flour
  • 1 12 cups milk
  • 2  cups  shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1  teaspoon  finely chopped fresh chives

Directions

  1. In saucepan over medium low, melt butter. Sprinkle with flour and cook 4-5 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk.
  2. Cook, stirring, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in cheese. Garnish with chives and serve.
