Cheddar Bay Biscuits from Scratch

Like Red Lobster biscuits, without Bisquick. Adapted from recipe on theslowroasteditalian.com.

Directions

  1. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  2. Add melted butter and milk.
  3. Mix just until there is no more dry flour showing. Do not overmix, will be quite lumpy.
  4. Fold in shredded cheese.
  5. Drop spoonfuls onto baking pan covered with parchment.
  6. Stir Old Bay into melted butter and brush on top. Sprinkle with parsley.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
