Cheddar Bay Biscuits from Scratch

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1⁄2 cup salted butter, melted
- 1 cup 1% low-fat milk
- 6 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 1⁄8 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 pinch parsley flakes
Directions
- Whisk dry ingredients together.
- Add melted butter and milk.
- Mix just until there is no more dry flour showing. Do not overmix, will be quite lumpy.
- Fold in shredded cheese.
- Drop spoonfuls onto baking pan covered with parchment.
- Stir Old Bay into melted butter and brush on top. Sprinkle with parsley.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
