Checca Sauce

• Yields: 2 1/2 cups

Ingredients

• 1  pint cherry tomatoes (about 2 cups, halved)
• 3  scallions, white and pale green parts only, coarsely chopped
• 3  garlic cloves, chopped
• 8  basil leaves
• 3  tablespoons olive oil
• 1  pinch salt
•  black pepper

Directions

1. Combine in food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped, being careful not to puree. Season with salt and pepper.
