  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Whip the cream until stiff.
  3. Fold in the Havarti cheese and salt into the mashed potatoes.
  4. Place the mashed potatoes in a buttered casserole dish.
  5. Spread the whipped cream over the potatoes.
  6. Bake, uncovered, in oven 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. 6 servings.
