Chalakilis (Chicken and Corn)

Found at chamorro.com, posting for ZWT 7 for Guam. The page attributes the recipe to "Real Guamanian Recipes" by Dorothy's Kitchen Cook Book. I am guessing I will make this with skinned chicken or possibly chicken breasts. Show more

  1. Saute garlic in oil (recipe says to discard but I imagine doing so may be difficult with minced garlic?).
  2. Add remaining ingredients except coconut milk and bring to a boil.
  3. Continue cooking until chicken is tender to a fork, about 30 minutes.
  4. Add coconut milk and serve with rice.
