Celery Seed Dressing

Have had this recipe for quite a while. Just recently it was served (by a caterer) at a luncheon I was at. They also added chinese noodles which gave it a wonderful crunch. I think that I will try it with candied pecans the next time I make it.

• Yields: 1 1/2 cups or more

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 1  teaspoon dry mustard
• 1  teaspoon salt
• 1⁄4  of an onion, grated (recipe did not stipulate size of onion)
• 1⁄3 cup vinegar
• 1  cup olive oil
• 1  tablespoon celery seed

Directions

1. Combine the sugar, mustard, salt and onion.
2. Add the vinegar and olive oil and beat well till combined.
3. Add celery seeds and whisk all together to blend.
