Cass's Gingerbread Waffles

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup molasses
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 6 tablespoons butter (melted & cooled)
Directions
- Beat eggs till fluffy and add sugar, molasses and buttermilok and beat. In a large bowl sift dry ingredients and add to batter and stir till smooth. Add buter and combine.
- Make in waffle maker.
- If freezing cool cooked waffles on rack and
- layer separately between sheets of wax paper.
- Place in zip lock bag.
- Reheat in toaster or 300 F oven )but not in a microwave).
