- Melt butter.
- Add onion, flour and seasonings and stir until smooth. Gradually add milk. Stir over medium heat until thickened.
- Arrange half of carrots in bottom of 2-1/2 qt casserole. Add cheese slices.
- Top with remaining carrots.
- Pour sauce over all.
- Top with buttered.
- bread crumbs.
- Bake at 375 for 30 minute.
