Carrot & Bacon Dog Bisquit

My Bulldog has a real problem with fleas. I decided to try making him dog biscuits with brewers yeast and garlic to help.

• Yields: 12 large biscuits

Ingredients

• 1 (14 1/2ounce) can carrots, sliced, low sodium
• 4  pieces fatty bacon, baked in oven, save the grease
• 1  cup brewer's yeast, with garlic, powdered
• 1  cup flour

Directions

1. In the food processor chop the lightly drained carrots to a ruff chop.
2. Add the bacon and grease,and yeast, mix.
3. Add the flour and pulse to mix.
4. Dump on to a floured board. Knead in more flour if needed.
5. Press to desired thickness, I do 1/2".
6. Cut into favorite shape or rectangles.
7. Place on a lightly greased or parchment covered cookie sheet.
8. Bake at 400 deg for 30 min turn down over to 250 deg and continue to cook until done.
9. My take longer because I do a large biscuit for a large dog.
