Carrot and Rice Pilaf Dehydrated Mix

Yields: 6 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup dehydrated carrot
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon vegetable bouillon
- 1 tablespoon dried onion
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups water
Directions
- Put ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to boil on high heat then cover and simmer on medium to low heat for 30 minutes; or until rice is tender and water has cooked off. Turn off heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Fluff and serve.
