Carol's Tuna Melt

Ingredients
- 1 (6 ounce) can tuna in water, drained and flaked
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- salt, a pinch
- fresh ground black pepper, a pinch
- 4 slices white bread (1/2-inch thick)
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1⁄2 cup shredded swiss cheese
Directions
- Preheat panini grill to high.
- In a bowl, combine the tuna, green onions, celery, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper; taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Brush one side of each bread slice with butter.
- Place two slices on a work surface, buttered side down, and evenly layer with tuna mixture and cheese.
- Cover with top halves, buttered side up, and press gently to pack.
- Place sandwiches in grill, close the top plate so that it barely touches the sandwiches and cook until golden brown, 3-4 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
