Carolina BBQ Vinaigrette

Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup cider vinegar
- 1⁄2 cup ketchup
- 1⁄4 cup spicy brown mustard
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup white onion, diced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic, chopped
- 1⁄4 cup peanut oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1⁄8 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- salt
- black pepper
Directions
- Melt butter in a deep sauce pan.
- Saute the onions until translucent.
- Add garlic to pan and cook a minute or two longer.
- Whisk in vinegar, ketchup, mustard, chili powder, and worcestershire sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Allow to cool a bit.
- Whisk in peanut oil.
