Carnival Corn Dogs

These are so like what you get at the carnival. got this off a recipe card

Ingredients

•  peanut oil, for deep frying
• 3⁄4 cup flour
• 3⁄4 cup yellow cornmeal
• 4  teaspoons baking powder
• 2  teaspoons dry mustard
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1  cup milk
• 2  eggs
• 10  beef hot dogs
• 10  heavy kabob  skewers

Directions

1. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375-400 degrees.
2. combine dry ingredients.
3. combine milk and eggs-mix well.
4. add dry ingredients-mix well.
5. place frankfurters on skewers,dip in batter mixture,allow excess to drip off.
6. fry in hot oil for 3 minutes, until browned.
7. drain on paper towels.
8. keep warm in low oven.
