Cardamom Flavoured Indian Mango Chutney

Yields: 500 gms.
Ingredients
- 500 g pulp of matured mangoes (they should not be ripe)
- 150 g dates
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 inches cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 -3 green cardamoms
- 4 cups water
- 3⁄4 tablespoon salt
- 9 tablespoons sugar
Directions
- Peel and chop mangoes into small cubes.
- Mix in all the ingredients and cook till thick.
- Stir continuously.
- Remove from heat and serve.
